You have been thinking that maybe it is time for you to start a workout regime – any workout regime – but ohhh, everything is just so expensive or so out of the way or so this and so that! It is time to stop making excuses now that KFit is available in your city.

Classes are scattered around different neighbourhoods. so you don’t have to complain about having to travel halfway across town for a class. And at a fixed monthly fee with access to all KFit partners, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to where you want to work out and what you want to do.

Here are 3 classes we recommend you should try if you are a beginner:

Zumba

zumba

This is a fun activity to do, especially with friends. The energy is really high and the music is great. The best part is that you don’t need a dance background to do Zumba, it’s totally beginner friendly!

We spoke to one of our KFit users, Kimberley, who’s a Zumba beginner. She says “Zumba a great cardio burner, suitable for all types of fitness levels!”

Jazzercise is a playful way to get into doing weights for the first time. Beginners can start off with small and light weights while doing easy-to-follow aerobic exercises to really upbeat music!

Our KFit user, Sarah, says the following about Jazzercise: “This was surprisingly fun – I didn’t expect it to be so intense because I initially thought Jazzercise was only for old ladies. HOW WRONG I WAS!”

Yoga

yoga

Yoga is in no way easy, but it is a great way to kickstart your fitness journey as it’s a low-impact form of exercise. Yoga, like all other fitness activities, takes loads of practice and its progress is gradual. But the discipline and strength you gain from yoga is a good way to lead into other fitness regimes.

“I love starting my day with a yoga class. It was one of the first activities I’ve tried on KFit and it’s great for building stamina as well as strength and conditioning!” says Melissa.
